Sunday Selections #141

It's time for Sunday Selections!
This is a weekly meme started by Kim of FrogPondsRock as a way to showcase some of the many photos we all take, but don't get around to showing on our blogs. Sunday Selections is now hosted by River at Drifting Through Life.

The rules are very simple:-
1. post photos of your choice, old or new, under the Sunday Selections title
2. link back to River somewhere in your post
3. leave a comment on River's post and visit some of the others who have posted and commented

This week, like River, I have gone with Spring.

Spring: when even my scrabbly garden has some pretty flowers:

This one's a cheat - it's a rose border planted by our neighbors that separates our properties:

Here's the full border:

Without a lovingly tended garden, the kids are reduced to hunting for "secret flowers", hidden amongst the grass:

How does spring look in your part of the world?

  1. I really like that lilac bush against the white fence and the rose border is lovely, doesn't matter at all that it isn't yours. Most of "my" garden isn't actually mine, they are communal gardens surrounding the blocks of flats, one of which is mine. but we can still all enjoy spring flowers wherever we find them.

    1. Very true. Luckily I have lots of green thumbed neighbors. Spring is lovely.

  2. Spring is spring. Wherever it is. And I love the lilac - a colour I don't (yet) have. It looks as if you have had some rain too - jealous thoughts.
